hi there sugarbabes, you won’t believe if I’d tell you that from now on I am part of the new-wave-movement. how comes? today we were on riot festival, honoured to see good shoes and lo-fi-funk, 17year-old boys, presenting perfect haircuts, in a great club named ‘melkweg’, introducing the new-wave-style to me, which I, from the first moment on, dispised. Anyway, as I don’t really like electronic music, you can imagine how I reacted when they played Babyshambles with ‘Delivery’. You know my dancing-style and maybe you can imagine how people looked at me while I staggered around in Pete-Doherty-euphoria. Anyway I think I definitely changed my point of view concerning electronic music. I don’t quite know for which reason, but somehow I really do like the music of lo-fi-funk, maybe because of the sweetness of its members or maybe because of the greatness of the music. No,actually, whatever may happen, I feel as a fuckin’ adult. Tonight we saw so many youngsters wearing New-Wave-clothes, printed or Mondrian-Shirts, so that I definitely felt quite old as I know that all these fashion-streams would pass by - leaving me completely unimpressed - although it is my profession. but what shall I do - skinny jeans combined with sneakers (mostly in neon-colour)… it just looks ridiculous - and nothing else.
well, whatever, actually I am far too drunk to discuss such themes. Tomorrow my tour will be over, and I will be exempted by my electro-infected tour-team. Maybe - or hopefully - I’ll find my way back to rock’n'roll. No reason for worries - I’m still dependent on micky, bobby, johnny, pete, liam and van morrison. these are my true and only friends - for whatever may happen. kisses, this is LaraK.

oh my god, once again I recognized that I am one of the last ones who is quite naive. dennis, I guess you know what I mean. the first time in my life, today I had to discover the ‘rotlicht’-quarter of amsterdam, and- what else would you expect- I was more than shocked, and it really stroke me. women sitting in their showrooms - positively expressed- presenting their personality, their identities, but anyway, these women are all reduced to their bodies, their breasts, their underwear. who are they? I’d love to become a documentary filmer, someone who keeps the personality of these women. once more I don’t understand men. how can you find these women attractive? how can you say that this is really good sex? I find this really depressing, shocking, words are missing. I definitely would say, that I found this more shocking than ‘irreversible’. what a statement.
afterwards, we were remembered to ‘prager-frühling-riot-minds-times’. we went to a club named bitterzuid - a club that was expected to play indie, britpop, and so on. when we arrived, they told us that they would close in about a few minutes, as their was nobody inside. so we went to a club next door, where techno-music was dominant, but- anyway- we discovered a boy who was one of the most beautiful guys I’ve ever seen in the last few months, It’s a pity that I didn’t have the courage to talk to him. however, I still feel fine. apart from that, amsterdam is incredibly beautiful, so romantic, and the boat we are living in is perfect for a girl-group as we are.
how comes that english vocabulary is not recognized in your guestbook? in a guestbook of a ‘british’ dj-team?
anyway, we try very hard in finding a comparable good dj-team in amsterdam. yesterday there was offered quite a great evening-nightlife-indie-masterplan, but actually we fell asleep at about 9 p.m., totally burned out after a horrible night on the road, not having slept on the train. we just woke up in the morning, ready for a walk through town, although always in danger of freezing to death, as it is so fucking cold in amsterdam. for god’s sake I am now punished for my habit to wear short skirts… well, many kisses and a big hug to munich, your K.Lara, known as LaraK.
